Jeremy and Elyse’s story with us began when Jeremy had a specific stone he wanted to propose to Elyse with. He wanted a very unique, rich, grass-green emerald cut emerald for the engagement ring. With this information, our master craftsman Neil, used his 20 years of gem buying experience to present several options for him and he chose the perfect one.
The next step was to create the ring with Jeremy’s specifications of a platinum band and a pair of emerald cut diamonds to match the emerald centre stone. It was then time to pop the all-important question, and of course, she said yes!
Along with the specifications for Elyse’s engagement ring, Jeremy also wanted to recycle his grandfather’s old ring into a unique and custom-made wedding band for himself whilst also holding that sentimental value. Jeremy and Elyse are avid venturers of the outdoors, they love hiking, running and mountain biking. This then inspired us to design and craft a truly wonderful piece. The end result was a solid gold wedding band adorning an engraved silver silhouette of the highest peak in Wales, Snowdonia.
It is tradition and custom for the groom to give the bride a wedding gift on the day of their wedding. Therefore, Neil suggested to Jeremy that a pair of earrings to match the engagement ring would be the perfect gift. Jeremy agreed and so Neil sourced matching stones in colour and cut.
We are so happy to have been a part of this amazing journey. Congratulations Jeremy and Elyse!
